The Top 5 Free RSS Readers
RSS Feeds are the next revolution in internet news syndication and as such AskCyberSteve.com has conducted a review of what we consider the top free programs.
1 – Omega Reader
The Omega reader is extremely easy to use and a robust windows application. It combines ease of use with RSS feeds, Usenet access, and web pages. Omega provides a smooth and seamless reading experience tailored to your content needs
2 - Awasu Personal Edition
This software is an extremely feature-rich RSS feed reader. The real advantage to this reader is its ability to incorporate external plugins and add on’s. Despite some limitations with the functionality it still stands highly in our rankings.
3 – BlogLines
Bloglines is a comfortable RSS reader for beginner use. Although it lakes some of the functionality of the above readers it still represents fantastic ease of use and great stability.
4 – Google Reader
Simple but flexible little utility. Lacks some of the options of the above programs but does an admirable job specifically with RSS news feeds.
4 – RSS Bandit
RSS Bandit is a nice and very capable feed reader that lets you browse news in an organized fashion. Its flexibility, virtual folders and synchronization abilities are great, but it would be even greater if it integrated with Bloglines and NewsGator Online, too.
AskCyberSteve hopes that this expert guide has assisted you with your choice.
