Call it paintballing or paintball; it\'s a game of concentration and correct tilt full of fun, thrill and skill. Why is the name of the game paintball? This is an obvious curiosity popping up in the minds of many. Especially if this is the first time you are hearing of paintball such queries are quite probable.
Paintballing is a game of shooting paint balls with compressed air guns at exact angles to strike at the other players present on the ground. Roughly it is something like that but the division of players into teams and the whole process of playing have to be keenly understood to get a clear picture of the game.
Division of teams
The team division is practically separating a group of players into two teams. One team takes the defensive side and the other team is the striker or the shooter. The team engaged in shooting the paint balls will have to hit the members of the opposition team and throw the players out of the game. The scoring depends on this marking process and therefore the winner is decided.
Flag games: A type of paint ball game
Flag game is another much known name of calling the paintball game. Actually the flag has a role to play in the paintball game divided into two teams. The flag is posted in the central position of the field and in the whole game the winner team will have to approach towards the flag and bring it into its own playing zone. Both the defenders and the strikers will have to run for the flag to hit the final winning stride.
The in and out process of the game is interesting. Actually all players from two sides are in but one by one the shooters throw out the members of the opposition. Who decides that the member is out? There are marshals who take care of this factor and his final saying becomes the verdict of loss and defeat in the game.
Game for the whole day
The period taken to play the game for a single time is very limited. It takes hardly half an hour to complete a single round. Exactly it will be twenty minutes to throw out a bunch of players. Now the tournament can be conducted for half a day which will take around 3-4 hours. Flag games are normally held for a daylong. Then it is almost twelve paintball games for the whole day and for duration of about seven hours. And all from different walks of life are most welcome to be a part of this exciting sports event of paintball.
