A holiday to Portugal is going to be exciting and fun, especially if you include a visit to Lisbon. There is an aquarium called the Oceanarium that is incredible to see. You will find all the exhibits to be very interesting and they all seem to tell a story. The neighborhood known as Bairro Alto is another place to visit. If you really want to see the area, visit the rooftop bar at the local hotel. It is amazing to be that far up and enjoy a drink and a view. You will be pleasingly surprised at how beautiful the scenery is from the rooftop.
If you would like to relax and see some beautiful sites, you will enjoy the Tram 28 ride. It takes you to areas around the area and up to the St George Castle. The tram is one form of transportation that can get you to different areas. There are two museums to see at the Fundacao Amalia and the Berardo Museum. These museums are filled with history and present some beautiful exhibits. If you are looking for an area to walk around, the neighborhood Alfama is a great place to explore. The area is very charming and filled with some beautiful architectural buildings.
If you took the tram 28 ride and enjoyed it, you will also enjoy the Funicular rail system known as the Elevador da Gloria. It takes you to the top of the Sao Pedro de Alcantara Miradouro so you can see Lisbon from afar. The rail takes you for a ride where you will see some points of interest along the way. It is a nice relaxing ride. If you get a little thirsty, you might stop in at Cinco Lounge where you will experience an incredible and tasty cocktail. This is a cocktail bar to visit even if it just once.
Take the family to the Expo \'98/ Parque das Nacoes. The theme park is a place that has something for everyone to enjoy. This is a landmark site, but the adventures inside the theme park are enjoyable. The Iberian Wolf Recovery Clinic is a nature reserve that everyone should see. It is an interesting place to visit. You will see so much of the land and realize what type of animals Portugal has. Your holiday to Portugal will be very enjoyable with so many things to do.
If you are looking for a panorama view of the city, you should visit National Pantheon of Santa. You can go to the top of the dome where you can see every inch of the city. Then you can spend a day at the Lisbon Zoo. The animals are very entertaining to watch. The zoo also has a beautiful garden area that is so full of color and sweet smells. Then you will see more neighborhoods to visit and many museums where you can see the artworks and historical facts about Portugal. You will always have a god time visiting Lisbon or any other area of Portugal.
